Cazulo Premium Cashew Feni is an old-style Feni, following in the time honoured traditions that made Feni the 'Classical Drink of Goa'.
Double distilled from the freshly stomped juice, maintains the bright fruity flavours, and stimulating natural bouquet of its main ingredient- the Cashew. Local cashew apple varieties, high in tannins and acids, produce flavours that have a mysterious richness unlike you would have never tasted before. Using exclusively hand-picked tree ripened cashew apples and encouraging the use of wild tropical yeasts for a slow natural fermentation, we add nothing to the Cazulo Premium Cashew Feni which isn't present naturally in the Cashew apple - no concentrate, no artificial yeast and definitely no artificial flavourers. Mellowed for a year in antique glass carboys- garafaon's, we revive a traditional process, to allow Cazulo Premium Feni's own character to appear to the fullest.
We designed the volume and decor to be as educational as they are intimate, inviting the you to share a moment of conviviality. With subtle elegant touches of embossing, the use of the vibrant traditional Kunbi tribe colours and the local botanical inspired motif border, our die-cut paper labels and stoppered bottles further strengthen the notion of premium craftsmanship. The bottle silhouette is directly inspired from a traditional Feni bottle and the fluid aesthetic of traditional henna patterns has been incorporated to make the logotype, the Cazulo, a highly stylized Firefly radiating a warming glow; further demonstrating the depth of the product. The classic packaging makes one nostalgic of a by-gone era, when Feni went from being the most popular drink in the land to almost total obsolescence.
With every label applied by hand, individually numbered and signed, each Cazulo Premium Feni bottle is a one-of-a-kind artefact designed to be treasured long after its contents are gone.
